T|T2: life without PalmOS

I had e-mail from Nikolay recently. He had corrected native T|T2 bootloader (through JTAG) to skip PalmOS and boot Linux. He also tried (and succeeded) to restore original settings. Unfortunately, at the moment he is too busy to give details (including instructions for adding JTAG to T|T2) and pictures, but as soon he will be available, we will get the story.
