I've just made a new binary release that fixes up some of the more annoying issues in OPIE and includes GPE again. In my opinion LifeDrive Linux is now starting to reach a usable-as-a-PDA state for the first time.

Codename: Insomnia

New things in this release:

• Cocoboot instead of Garux
• Standby mode
• All 3 Familiar rootfs images at once, for a change.
• Keypad support in OPIE
• Kernel 2.6.17
• Less touchscreen glitches
• HDD data partition now mounted as /media/hdd
• Swapfile
• Initramfs instead of initrd (more free memory)

DosBox was ported to PalmOS. That means you can run simple x86 apps onboard. But do you really need that x86 apps when you can run arm-linux ones?

Note 2. Now you can easily brick you palm (something like dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/mtdblock0 is enough)
Note 3. Andrey kindly pointed me to JTAG pins location (thanks agian!) on TT3's PCB. So if you have high soldering skills you can fix results of dangerous flashing

After fixing some DMA related bugs I tried booting Opie. I used same image that I use for z71. It works It's quite slow cuz of slow mmc card and insufficient memory anyway. It'd be better on TT2 for sure Howto follows...

Finally ... it's here ... BLOW CHAMPAGNE!!! I've made TT MMC driver working
So TT (and after changing all TT to TT2 and tt to tt2 in the driver, TT2) has FULL RW MMC support!!!

I've traced the bug in aic23 i2c resume function so the sound chip can be now also suspended. Also, there are many patches laying around so I made big one again. All changes are in except USB hostmode.

Thanks to Andrzej Zaborowski's efforts on Garux, I got new stuff to play with . Thanx balrog-kun . So ... I took that stuff and merged it to GaruxNG. It works in a quite different way though - mainly the progress bar.
